What pre-approval is
The review is done ahead of time, and the result belongs to your plant rather than to one customer's order.
What you receive
A serial-numbered annual certificate, verifiable online, and a file your buyer's authority can pick up and continue.
Your buyer pays nothing for your pre-approval. That is the point of it.

What the certificate is
It is
Proof that your facility has been reviewed and is capable of kosher production.
It is not
A kosher certificate for your products, and it does not replace supervision during production.
Questions factories ask
We already produce kosher for a customer. Why this?
That arrangement belongs to that customer. When another importer comes, the review starts again. This one belongs to your plant.
Does it certify our products?
No. It covers the facility, the reviewed materials and the reviewed lines. Product certification is issued separately.
Will my buyer's kosher authority accept it?
Each authority decides for itself. What it gets is a completed review to start from, which is where the time and the cost usually go.
Can we use it with more than one importer?
Yes. It is held by your plant and is not tied to any one order.
What does it cost?
A fixed annual fee per manufacturing site, set out in writing after the free assessment, with the scope beside it.
